Her Speech

Angel's Birthday Speech

Good Evening ladies and Gentlemen

It is an honor to be the host of this amazing event. To celebrate this gorgeous young woman. It is a privilege because I sit in a room full of memories and love. Room that knows both how awesome she is, and one that knows how flawed she is. And yet it is full of laughter and praise and care and love.

Angel, you are honored today. Because of your beautiful heart and this room represents moments and glimpses of your journey so far.

This room also represents tomorrow( when party is over and make up is removed. And noise dies down.) Because in this room are new memories, new laughter, new flaws, old flaws come to life, anger, passion and most importantly an new opportunities for God to shine in your life. This room represents blessings for your new year.

We love, I love you. God loves you.

To my happiness

I love it when we work.
I love it when we talk.
I love it when I miss you.
Makes no sense but I know its just you.

I hate it when I can't reach you
Especially because its my fault.
I hate that you can walk away.
From a whole me,
Your Nerd,
Your annoying love bug.
and the endless love I feel.

So sorry when I trip.
Am so sorry when I flip,
But I hope
That one day,
Maybe one day,
you will understand,
That,
I am a bit stupid,
And maybe I'm bit mad,

Because no one throws away
Their own heart,
Then walks around being sad..
From a cavern of their own making,
Whose darkness eats up light.

I hate it when I miss you,
I hate it when I care
I hate that this hole inside of me,
Is coz I dug and tore you out.
Its like I have a million arms,
That are reaching out
And they can Only grasp the air.

I love it when I pray
And God undoubtedly says,
*I filled your heart with a diamond,
And you mined it with your unclean spade,
I put you in a caramel paradise,
Even your six year old could tell.

That I gave you an Angel.
That i gave you a chance,
And then another one,
I show her that you do care,

Instead you let insecurities,
And worse yet
Your waggy tongue,
To talk, push and smother,
Your Sunshine,
Your happiness,
Your peace,
That place you will always call home..*

So I will tell you again,
My Angel,
I will tell you with a poem,
That i am sorry,
And that i love you,
For forever and a day.
And if loving you was a number?
Its end, we are yet to find.
